EZ Flood® – it means what it says
If it’s not easy, then we can’t call it EZ.
That’s the rule of thumb at Aon Edge as we work to create private flood solutions that work for our agents – and more importantly, their customers. As the private flood insurance market continues to grow, we continue to adapt to provide a seamless insurance product for humans just like us – which is where our EZ Flood product comes in. Here are eight things you need to know about this product offering:
12 vs. 70+
Whether a home is in a high risk flood zone or not, our quoting system contains only 12 underwriting questions and can be done in less than 60 seconds. Yes – you read that right. Trust us, we’ve had a competition to see how fast it can be done.
What Elevation Certificates?
No need to worry about deciphering all of the numbers and letters on an EC – our technology doesn’t rely on the use of them. This saves your client even more money and can help speed up their closing process if they’re going through a new purchase.
No pictures? No problem.
No more teaching your clients how to use their smartphones to email you photos. We don’t require them! We don’t require inspections. We don’t require crawling around in the mud to measure vents. As long as you have the home address, answer all 12 questions and tell us how much coverage you need for the customer, you’re ready to go!
Coverage galore.
Our solutions offer up to $750,000 in dwelling coverage and up to $200,000 in contents coverage. Additional living expenses is also available on many policies as well as swimming pool clean out, and, in many states, catastrophic ground collapse coverage – also known as saving your home from a sinkhole.
And, unlike the NFIP, our B, C, and X policies offer replacement cost loss settlement for all buildings and content – regardless of occupancy type, such as primary vs. secondary residences. In addition, our deductibles are between $1,000 and $10,000 – and they apply separately to building and content. For example, if you selected a $1,000 deductible, you’d have a $1,000 deductible for your building and a $1,000 deductible for your contents.
Eligibility!
Coverage is available in 47 states, for 1-4 family residences, and for primary, secondary, rental, and vacant residential properties. We offer coverage to all foundation types other than those built over water and do require that a property be flood claims free for the past five years. Plus, excess coverage is available!
Our technology.
We have engaged with many companies to improve the agent experience and the experience for their customers.
- IVANS – allows policy information and document downloading into enabled agency management systems.
- DocuSign – allows for e-signature, making the signature and application process as easy as possible.
- PL Rating – allows agents to garner EZ Flood quotes in the homeowners quoting process.
Time is money…
EZ Flood can be quoted in less than 60 seconds. Plus, there’s no more 30 day waiting period – ours is half of the NFIP’s, taking just 15 days to receive coverage.
